Ecotherapy in Los Angeles
Take time to reconnect with the natural world and yourself by exploring the transformative benefits of nature therapy. Whether you prefer outdoor spaces for COVID safety or are curious about incorporating elements of somatic therapy, I offer “walk and talk” sessions in the serene setting of Griffith Park.
Ecotherapy, or nature therapy, is based on the understanding that we are inherently connected to our natural surroundings. Our relationships with nature, including its elements and animals, are as vital as our human connections. Traditional psychotherapy focuses on enhancing our relationships with others. Ecotherapy builds on this by also recognizing the importance of our bond with nature.
Engaging in Ecotherapy in Los Angeles can be a powerful tool for those seeking relief from stress and anxiety, navigating life transitions, or craving a deeper sense of harmony. The therapeutic benefits of immersing oneself in nature are profound, offering a unique pathway to emotional and psychological well-being.
In a world filled with hustle and bustle, ecotherapy provides a tranquil refuge for connection and renewal. Embark on a path toward holistic wellness and embrace the healing power of nature. Through ecotherapy, you can find a peaceful escape from the stresses of daily life, allowing nature to facilitate your journey of self-discovery and healing.
While I see clients throughout California, our Griffith Park meetup spot in Los Feliz is especially convenient for those near Atwater Village, Echo Park, Glendale, Hollywood, and Silver Lake. Whether you are looking for a new approach to therapy or simply want to spend more time in nature, ecotherapy can offer you a unique and transformative experience.
Frequently Asked Questions

Before doing an outdoor session, I meet with clients virtually for the first few sessions. This allows us to get to know each other and discuss confidential or sensitive material in a private setting.
Not all sessions need to be outside; you can combine Telehealth and ecotherapy based on your preferences and schedule.
“Walk and Talk” sessions don’t have to involve walking or hiking either. If you prefer, we can use the park bench seating instead.

Meeting outdoors in public areas for sessions means we need to be mindful of confidentiality. We'll talk about ways to ensure your privacy is respected. For instance, we might pause our discussion if people pass by on the trail or step aside to a quieter spot for more discretion.

An ecotherapy session lasts for 50 minutes and is $150, which is the same duration and fee as a Telehealth session. Extended sessions can be arranged in advance for an additional cost.
